Iberian Notebooks in 3-D. Observing and interpreting: the Iberian world of the Museo Arqueológico Nacional in 3-D

Abstract

3-D models of archaeological objects of Iberian culture, selected from the MAN (Museo Arqueológico Nacional) collection.

The objects are: • Dama de Galera, an alabaster statue some 19 cm high, found in the necropolis of Tútugi (Galera, Granada), 7th century BC • Bicha de Balazote, a limestone sculpture 95 cm long, found in Balazote (Albacete) • Gran Dama Oferente, carved from limestone and some 135 cm high, found in the Cerro de los Santos (Montealegre del Castillo, Albacete), 3rd century BC • Vaso de los Guerreros or Warriors Cup, 41 cm high, found in Archena (Murcia), dated from the second half of the 3rd century BC • A two-piece funerary urn, also from Tútugi 22/13 cm, 3rd century BC • Bronze votive offering 13 cm high, found in the sanctuary of Collado de los Jardines (Jaén)
