| Abstract: | El acuerdo inédito que toman en 1607 las clarisas placentinas de aceptar el patronazgo de don Rodrigo Calderón y su esposa doña Inés de Vargas y corresponderles con la ejecución de sus entierros y esculturas orantes para los que Juan Álvarez tenía ya dadas las trazas, ha permitido al autor poner en relación con este maestro los entierros que se hicieron en Plasencia entre 1596 y 1610/15. The unprecedented agreement made in 1607 by the Poor Clares of accepting the patronage of Don Rodrigo Calderón and his wife Doña Inés de Vargas and corresponding to the execution of their burials and praying sculptures for which Juan Álvarez had already given the traces, has allowed the author put in relation with this teacher the burials that were made in Plasencia between 1596 and 1610/15. |
