La salud mental en los portugueses de enseñanza superior frente a la transición al mercado de trabajo

Abstract

En el actual ambiente de crisis económica y del agravamiento del desempleo la preocupación es, sobre todo, con el deterioro de la Salud Mental de los Estudiantes Universitarios que irán a salir para el Mercado de Trabajo.

El presente estudio describe las características y analiza las relaciones entre salud mental y las expectativas de los estudiantes de cara al conseguir o no un empleo futuro (próximo). Los participantes serán Estudiantes Universitarios Portugueses.

Para la evaluación de las variables en estudio serán utilizados: un cuestionario para caracterización sociodemográfica de los sujetos de la muestra; la versión portuguesa del Brief Symptom Inventory (BSI) (Canavarro, 1999) para evaluar la sintomatologia psicopatológica; la versión portuguesa del Mental Health Inventory (MHI) (Ribeiro, 2001) para evaluar el distress y el bienestar psicológico; y la Escala de Desânimo de cara al empleo (adaptado de Job Hopelessness Scale – J.H.S.) para medir las expectativas individuales en lo que concierne a conseguir o no un empleo futuro.

In the current environment of economic crisis and of the aggravation of the unemployment the worry is, especially, with the deterioration of the Mental Health of the University Students that will go to go out for the Market of Work.

The present study describes the characteristics and analyses the relations between mental health and the expectations of the students of face when achieving or no a future employment (next). The participants will be Portuguese University Students.

For the evaluation of the variables in study will be used: a questionnaire for characterisation sociodemográfica of the subjects of the sample; the Portuguese version of the Brief Symptom Inventory (BSI) (Canavarro, 1999) to evaluate the sintomatologia psicopatológica; the Portuguese version of the Mental Health Inventory (MHI) (Ribeiro, 2001) to evaluate the distress and the psychological welfare; and the Scale of Desânimo of face to the employment (adapted of Job Hopelessness Scale – J.H.S.) To measure the individual expectations in what it concerns to achieve or no a future employment.
