As partes da oração na tradição gramatical do Tupinambá / Nheengatu

Abstract

El artículo describe la gramática tradicional tupinamba/nheengatu y la aplicación del modelo greco-latino de las “ocho partes del discurso”, propuestas por sus autores, a lo largo del siglo XVI. El material de análisis y el marco temporal son definidos por el "Documenta Grammaticae et Historiae. Linguistic and Historiographic Documentary Project” (Altman & Coelho 2006, coords.), desarrollado por investigadores y estudiantes del “Center of Linguistic Historiography Documentation” (CEDOCH) de la Universidad de São Paulo.

The text describes partially the Tupinamba/Nheengatu grammatical tradition and the application of the Greek-Latin model of “eight parts of speech”, as proposed by their authors, along the 16th-19th centuries. The material of analysis and the time framework are those defined by the “Documenta Grammaticae et Historiae. Linguistic and Historiographic Documentary Project” (Altman & Coelho 2006, coords.), developed by the researchers and the students of the “Center of Linguistic Historiography Documentation” (CEDOCH) of the University of São Paulo.

O presente texto descreve parte da tradição gramatical do Tupinambá/Nheengatu e a utilização do modelo greco-latino das “oito partes da oração”, tal como proposta por seus autores, ao longo dos séculos XVI-XIX. Os materiais de análise e o quadro temporal de trabalho são aqueles definidos pelo “Documenta Grammaticae et Historiae. Projeto de Documentação Linguística e Historiográfica” (Altman & Coelho 2006, coords.), desenvolvido pelos pesquisadores e alunos do “Centro de Documentação em Historiografia Lingüística” (CEDOCH) da Universidade de São Paulo.
