Repositorio digital Nopoki

Abstract

Este trabajo nace de una propuesta realizada por IEEE Sight Espana (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Special Interest Group on Humanitarian Technology), junto con la Oficina de Cooperación al Desarrollo y Voluntariado de la Universidad de Extremadura (OCUDV), en el marco de una cooperación internacional con IEEE Sight Peru. El proyecto consiste en el desarrollo de una plataforma web, concretamente un repositorio, que será utilizado para almacenar documentación en multiples formatos (archivos digitales PDF, textos escaneados, imágenes, etc.) proveniente de comunidades amazónicas peruanas. Aparte de almacenar dicha documentación, el repositorio de documentos también servirá para indexar su contenido, ordenarlos por categorías, asignarles etiquetas por temas, autores y otros criterios, facilitando de esta forma su búsqueda y su acceso en ámbitos académicos, históricos, antropológicos, etc.

This project was developed from a proposal of IEEE Sight Spain (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Special Interest Group on Humanitarian Technology) in collaboration with the Development Cooperation and Volunteering Office of the University of Extremadura (Spain), in the framework of an international cooperation project with IEEE Sight Peru. The project consists in developing a web platform, specifically a digital repository, which will be used to store multi-format documentation (PDF files, scanned documents, pictures, etc.) from Peruvian Amazonic communities. Besides to save that documentation, the platform will be able to index their content, sort by categories, attach keywords of topics, authors or other facts, in order to simplify the searches and the accesses in academical, historical, and anthropological scopes, among other interests.
