The creation of the Royal Court of Extremadura in 1791 marked the arrival of a traditional small town, conservative, a group of enlightened that energized the dying cultural, social and political reform proposals in various fields. They were joined by members of an economic migration, feeding the commercial and financial capitalism and political liberalism.
