La Ilustración en Europa y sus criterios sobre el Mundo Clásico

Abstract

En el permanente cambiar de los tiempos y más aún de las ideas, en una época en que el hombre más que nunca se siente dueño de sí, de las ciencias y de las artes, dueño del mundo, se nos presenta la Ilustración como fruto sazonado y maduro, a distancia del Renacimiento, pues el siglo XVIII "es un proceso regular que se inicia en el Renacimiento y concluye con el Romanticismo".

In the permanent change of times and even more of ideas, at an age when man more than ever feels himself master of the sciences and the arts, owner of the world, the Enlightenment is presented as a seasoned and mature fruit, at a distance from the Renaissance, because the 18th century "is a regular process that begins in the Renaissance and ends with Romanticism".
