Una fuente para el estudio del PCE durante la dictadura de Primo de Rivera: el informe del juez Salvador Alarcón

Abstract

A la hora de abordar el análisis de la trayectoria histórica del Partido Comunista de España es frecuente encontrarnos con numerosas lagunas en el estudio de esta formación política. Evidentemente muchas han sido las causas de la inexistencia de una "historia institucional" sobre este partido (recuérdese por ejemplo la larga pervivencia de la dictadura franquista) y por lo tanto no es extraño que el desconocimiento de determinados períodos de la historia de esta organización sea la nota característica. Esta realidad se constata aún más si dirigimos nuestra mirada hacia las primeras etapas del desarrollo del PCE. No obstante, desde principios de la década de los ochenta este panorama se ha ido transformando. El estudio de la formación y primeros pasos del Partido Comunista y las más recientes investigaciones sobre este partido durante la II República son buena muestra de ello.

At the time of approaching the analysis of the historical trajectory of the Spanish Communist Party it is frequent to find numerous gaps in the study of this political formation. Evidently many have been the causes of the nonexistence of an "institutional history" about this party (remember for example the long survival of Franco’s dictatorship) and therefore it is not strange that ignorance of certain periods of the history of this organization is the characteristic note. This reality is even more evident if we turn our attention to the early stages of the development of the PCE. However, since the beginning of the eighties this panorama has been changing. The study of the formation and first steps of the Communist Party and the most recent investigations on this party during the Second Republic are a good example of this.
