| Abstract: | Análisis de "Ciropedia" 3.3.48-55, pasaje conflictivo en el que el rey persa Ciro dialoga con Crisantas sobre la inutilidad de la arenga militar. Tras pasar revista a las diferentes explicaciones proporcionadas por la crítica, aportamos la nuestra, basada en un análisis interno en el que comparamos las afirmaciones teóricas de Ciro con las arengas pronunciadas por el rey a lo largo de la obra. Analysis of "Cyr." 3.3.48-55, conflicting passage in which the Persian king Cyrus talks with Crisantas about the uselessness of the military harangue. After reviewing to the different explanations provided by the critic, we offer ours, based on an internal analysis in which we compare the theoretical affirmations of Cyrus with the harangues pronounced by the king throughout the work. |
