| Abstract: | Un novedoso enfoque en los primeros 20 versos de la balada de Góngora “Trepan los gitanos”, escrito en 1603 en Valladolid. Al tiempo que se cuestiona las interpretaciones de Robert Jammes y Antonio Carreira, se ofrece una novedosa interpretación en base al análisis semántico de elementos léxicos: trepar, trepa, zurrón, y los antónimos
dar/tirar. A new examination on the first 20 lines of Gongora’s ballad “Trepan los gitanos”, written in Valladolid in 1603. While questioning the interpretations of Robert Jammes and Antonio Carreira, a fresh interpretation on the basis of semantic analysis of the lexical items: trepar, trepa, zurrón, and the antonyms dar/tirar, is provided. |
