| Abstract: | La discusión del naturalismo ha llenado páginas y páginas de libros y ensayos publicados en España desde 1880. En este ensayo se describe la evolución de este debate crítico en los últimos decenios, llamando la atención sobre puntos tales como la preocupación por los aspectos formales, la creciente toma de conciencia y un acuerdo acerca de la discrepancia entre los preceptos y prácticas naturalistas, y el origen de la noción de un "hipotexto romántico". Discussion of Naturalism has filled pages and pages of books and essays published in Spain since 1880. This essay traces the evolution of this critical debate over the last few decades, drawing attention to points such as the concern over formal aspects, the growing awareness of and agreement about the discrepancy between Naturalistic precepts and practice, and the origin of the notion of a “Romantic hypotext”. |
