Una experiencia universitaria de innovación educativa con Word Clouds

Abstract

En la Universidad, las posibilidades de interacción que permiten las nuevas tecnologías asociadas a la web 2.0, están rompiendo la relación tradicional de espacio y tiempo y, a la vez, haciendo que la enseñanza superior converja hacia sistemas de formación que facilitan la puesta en práctica de un modelo didáctico socio-constructivista e investigador. Este artículo describe una experiencia universitaria de innovación desarrollada en esta línea, donde la utilización de algunos de estos recursos permite crear un entorno de aprendizaje virtual en el que se estimula el papel activo del estudiante. En particular, la experiencia abunda en la explotación de algunas de las posibilidades de herramientas generadoras de Word clouds. Entre los objetivos de la práctica destacan, entre otros: favorecer el papel activo del futuro profesional de la educación, explorar fuentes electrónicas de información sobre las funciones del educador, fomentar el andamiaje cognitivo, reflexivo y creativo en red y estimular el desarrollo de habilidades cognitivas complejas.

At the University, the interactive possibilities that the new technologies related to the 2.0 web offer, are breaking the traditional space and time relationship and, at the same time, forcing the higher education to converge towards training systems that facilitate putting into practice a socio-constructivist and researching learning method. This paper describes a college experience on innovation developed into this idea, where using some of these resources allows to create a virtual learning environment where the active role of the student is stimulated. In particular, the experience goes into great detail on the exploitation of some of the tools that generate the Word clouds. Among the objectives of the practice the following are emphasized: promote the active role of the professional future of education, explore information electronic resources about the educator functions, promote the networked cognitive, reflexive and creative scaffolding, and stimulate the development of complex cognitive habilities.
