A fala do Val de Xálima

Abstract

La revista “Limite” consagra este número a la Fala del Val de Xálima, una lengua limítrofe del noroeste de Cáceres que destaca por su vitalidad en el panorama lingüístico europeo. El presente monográfico es el resultado de la celebración de las “I Jornadas sobre el estudio y difusión de A Fala”, organizadas por el Parqui Cultural Serra de Gata (PCSG). El PCSG nació como un órgano de gobierno horizontal con el propósito de estudiar, preservar y promover el patrimonio natural y cultural serragatino. Como no podía ser de otra manera, el patrimonio lingüístico ocupa un lugar importante, donde destacan las variedades de Valverde del Fresno, Eljas y San Martín de Trevejo.

“Limite” dedicates this issue to the Fala from Val de Xálima, a bordering language in the northwest of Cáceres that stands out for its vitality in the European linguistic panorama. This monograph is the result of the celebration of the "I Conference on the study and dissemination of A Fala", organized by the Parqui Cultural Serra de Gata (PCSG). The PCSG was born as a horizontal governing organism with the purpose of studying, preserving and promoting natural and cultural heritage from Sierra de Gata. How could it be otherwise, linguistic heritage occupies an important place, where the varieties of Valverde del Fresno, Eljas and San Martín de Trevejo stand out.
