40 años de Bronce del suroeste: aportaciones desde su periferia extremeña

Abstract

Pretendemos exponer el considerable enriquecimiento que para la definición del Bronce del Suroeste están suponiendo los estudios sobre el II milenio a.C. en la Extremadura meridional. Así, de considerarse un territorio de difusión hacia mediados de los setenta, cuarenta años después se ofrece más bien una imagen de plena integración. Geográficamente periférico, aunque poco “periférico” en sus expresiones materiales, culturales y cronológicas, este espacio ofrece hoy al Suroeste, entre otras aportaciones, una secuencia de referencia, elementos arquitectónicos y un modelo paleoeconómico

We try to expose the considerable enrichment that for the definition of the Bronze of the Southwest the studies suppose on the millenium II B.C. in the southern Extremadura. So that, during the seventies it was considered a territory of diffusion, forty years later it is offered an image of full integration. Geographically peripheral, though “little peripheral” in his material, cultural and chronological expressions, today this space offers to the Southwest, between other contributions, one sequences of reference, architectural elements and a model palaeoeconomic.
