Blogs para la enseñanza de la ética: resultados de una intervención

Abstract

Este artículo expone los resultados de una intervención llevada a cabo en un grupo de estudiantes de Ética con el que se implementó un sistema de blogs para apoyar el desarrollo de habilidades de trabajo colaborativo y de discusión, para averiguar qué tan viable es el uso de esta TIC para cumplir objetivos académicos en esta asignatura. La metodología de investigación fue etnografía en el aula y virtual, se llevó registro de las reacciones de los estudiantes y de su desarrollo de las habilidades propuestas. Sobre los resultados, el proyecto tuvo éxito en algunos sentidos y fracasó en otros. Se pretende presentar ambos, especialmente analizando los fallos para ayudar a otros profesores e interesados en el tema, a desarrollar sus propios proyectos sobre la base esta experiencia. Entre las conclusiones a las que se llegó fue que sí es viable esta tecnología para estos objetivos pero también se concluyó que se requieren cambios más amplios y no sólo a nivel asignatura. En el artículo se expondrá brevemente por qué consideramos al blog como herramienta tecnológica para aplicar en el aula; se comentará también brevemente en qué consistió la intervención y cuáles fueron los resultados, incluyendo los errores cometidos para que otros profesores tengan oportunidad de no incurrir en los mismos.

This article exposes the results of an intervention that took place in a group of students of Ethics to which a system of blogs was implemented to support the development of skills of collaborative work and of discussion, to verify if it was viable the use of this ICT to fulfill academic aims. The methodology of research was ethnography, in the classroom and virtually, I took record of the reactions of the students and of his development of the proposed skills. On the results, the project was successful in some senses and failed in others. I will present both, specially analyzing the failures to help other teachers and interested parties in the topic, to develop their own projects on the base of this experience. Among the conclusions we can say that this technology is viable for these aims but also we concluded that more wide changes are needed. In this paper it will be exposed briefly why we consider to the blog as technological tool to apply in the classroom; it will be commented also briefly of what the intervention consisted and which were the results, including the committed mistakes in order that other teachers have opportunity to not incur in the same ones.
