Fútbol para personas ciegas y con deficiencia visual: "un mundo sin descubrir"

Abstract

Estudio sobre el fútbol para personas ciegas o con discapacidad visual. Se trata de un deporte de cooperación oposición, que se desarrolla en espacios separados y con participación alternativa de los intervinientes, similar a deportes colectivos como el voleibol. Por su naturaleza, el fútbol o fútbol-sala ofrece al deportista una libertad absoluta del juego una vez que el árbitro marca el comienzo del partido. El sistema de guías facilita esa libertad de elección, gracias a la descripción de las diferentes situaciones que se desarrollan en este contexto deportivo en tiempo real. Pero es el jugador quien decide si regatea, o si pasa el balón, o si tira a puerta, y todo esto sabiendo dónde están sus compañeros, sus rivales, las porterías, aprovechándose de la facilidad que el fútbol sala le proporciona para desarrollar su capacidad de dominio espacial.

It is a sport of cooperation and opposition, which takes place in separate spaces and with alternative participation of the players, similar to team sports such as volleyball. By its nature, football or futsal offers the athlete absolute freedom of play once the referee signals the start of the match. The guidance system facilitates this freedom of choice, thanks to the description of the different situations that develop in this sporting context in real time. But it is the player who decides whether to dribble, or pass the ball, or shoot at goal, and all this while knowing where his teammates, opponents and goals are, taking advantage of the facility that futsal provides him to develop his capacity for spatial domain.
