Una bibliografía actual de literatura villanovense

Abstract

La comarca de Vegas Altas se nutre del aliento y energías que emanan del capital humano de sus localidades cabeceras, Don Benito y Villanueva de la Serena. Si en un primer texto publicado en 2023 hicimos alusión al panorama bibliográfico que la ciudad dombenitense depara desde hace medio siglo, en el genérico campo de la literatura, le corresponde ahora a Villanueva mostrar la riqueza, variedad y amplitud de la creación literaria que vierten nativos y naturalizados villanovenses; porque no desmerece la impronta de ser de un lugar el hecho de proceder de otro y pasar gran parte de su vida aquí y sentirse un lugareño más, o simplemente reivindicar la estirpe familiar. De nuevo, nos fijamos en el carácter local de una bibliografía literaria que supone, en este caso, un afianzamiento paralelo de los vínculos que se establecen entre Villanueva de la Serena y Don Benito. Pues las sinergias generadas, también a la hora de escribir y publicar literatura, son indudables y trabajan en pos de levantar una bibliografía comarcal y regional de calidad y trayectoria, desde mediados del siglo XX y proyectándose en el XXI.

The Vegas Altas region is nourished by the breath and energies that emanate from the human capital of its main towns, Don Benito and Villanueva de la Serena. If in a first text published in 2023 we alluded to the bibliographic panorama that the city of dombenitense has offered for half a century, in the generic field of literature, it is now up to Villanueva to show the richness, variety and breadth of the literary creation that natives pour and naturalized villanovenses; because the fact of coming from another and spending a large part of your life here and feeling like another local, or simply claiming family lineage, does not detract from the imprint of being from one place. Once again, we look at the local character of a literary bibliography that supposes, in this case, a parallel strengthening of the links established between Villanueva de la Serena and Don Benito. Well, the synergies generated, also when writing and publishing literature, are undoubted and work towards building a regional and regional bibliography of quality and trajectory, since the mid-20th century and projecting into the 21st.
