La lengua literaria en el "Martín Fierro" y "El Miajón de los castúos"

Abstract

El ensayo trata del origen del uso del dialecto como un vehículo literario en la producción de dos colecciones de poemas, los cuales separados por cuarenta años de diferencia en su elaboración, tuvieron que afrontar similares dificultades. José Hernández tuvo que encarar la transcripción del discurso gaucho argentino, mientras que Luis Chamizo tuvo que tratar de la representación fonética del discurso castúo extremeño por significar una nueva ortografía. En este artículo, el autor compara las formas en que ambos poetas solucionan los problemas para imponer dos variantes dialectales en sus respectivos trabajos.

The essay deals with the origin of the usage of dialect as a literary vehicle in the production of two collections of poems which, separated by a forty-year difference in their elaboration, had to face similar difficulties. José Hernández had to face the difficulties in transcribing the Argentine gaucho speech, whereas Luis Chamizo had to deal with the phonetic representation of the Extremaduran castuo speech by means of a new orthography. In the article, the author compares the way in which both poets solved the problems to impose two dialectal varieties of the Spanish language -the Argentian and the Extremaduran- as a literary vehicle in their respective works.
