Tópicos de la fantasía épica en la literatura infantil y juvenil. Un recorrido por la construcción narrativa de "Mago por casualidad" de Laura Gallego

Abstract

El objetivo del presente artículo es realizar un acercamiento desde el ámbito educativo al intrincado mundo de la imaginación y la fantasía que rodea a parte de la producción literaria actual destinada al público infantil. Para ello, trataremos de definir y caracterizar los imprecisos límites de este género, a partir de un breve recorrido por los escenarios y personajes que habitan y pueblan lo fantástico en la obra de la escritora valenciana Laura Gallego, Mago por casualidad. Con ello, buscamos la reafirmación de la literatura fantástica dentro de los cánones escolares, a partir de la implementación didáctica de textos como el seleccionado, que se convierten, por su naturaleza y contenido, en obras atractivas para trabajar el fomento de la lectura y la escritura creativa en los primeros lectores.

The aim of this article is to approach from an educational scope the intricate world of fantasy and the imagination which form part in the production of contemporary literature. In order to do this, we will attempt to define and distinguish the imprecise limits of this genre, starting with a brief examination of the scenes and characters that inhabit the Fantastic in the work of the Valencian writer Laura Gallego, Mago por casualidad. Within this, we look for the reaffirmation of fantasy literature within scholastic ideals, starting with the didactic implementation of texts such as the latter, which become appealing works to achieve the development of the reading and creative writing of beginner readers, due to both their nature and content.
