Evolución de la Fotografía de Moda. Estudio teórico y propuesta fotográfica propia

Abstract

La fotografía de moda es un género que ha ido evolucionando hasta crear una estética única, donde los complementos o vestimentas que se muestran, van acompañados de lugares exóticos y creaciones artísticas para realzarlos. Este trabajo tiene una doble vertiente, en primer lugar una parte teórica en la que se estudia cada una de las décadas, desde finales del siglo XIX, hasta la actualidad (principios del siglo XXI). En cada época se contextualiza la situación histórica en la que se encuentra inmersa, se analizan las técnicas y herramientas utilizadas, y se destacan los medios y autores más influyentes y conocidos, junto a los proyectos realizados en ese momento. En segundo lugar, una vez comprendido el estudio teórico, una parte práctica en la que se presenta una propuesta fotográfica propia. En ella se reflejan los elementos y características más importantes de la mayoría de los periodos, inspiradas por las ideas de los autores más resaltados.

Fashion photography is a genre that has evolved to create a unique esthetic, where the accessories or clothes that are shown are accompanied by exotic locations and artistic creations for their presentation.

The analysis of this project is twofold. First off, there is a theoretical part in which each decade, from the end of the Nineteenth Century until current times (the beginning of the Twenty-first Century), is studied. For each period, the historical context is given, the tools and techniques used are analyzed, and the most important and influential photographers are highlighted, together with the projects realized in that era.

Secondly, once the theoretical side is understood, there is a practical part in which an original photographic collection is presented, reflecting the most important elements and characteristics from a majority of the periods and inspired by the ideas of the most influential photographers.
