El hombre sin naturaleza: algunas consideraciones sobre el sujeto reflexivo

Abstract

Este trabajo pretende mostrar los rasgos esenciales de la subjetividad moderna y su evolución hasta su forma contemporánea, especialmente en sus manifestaciones políticas y jurídicas. El sujeto reflexivo característico de la posmodernidad representa la culminación de ese proceso, articulado en torno a un concepto de voluntad y de libertad política que le da unidad y, en última instancia, explica sus contradicciones y la paradoja de su radical dominación.

This paper is aimed to show the essential features of modern subjectivity and its evolution to its contemporary form, with particular focus on its political and legal manifestations. The reflexive subject characteristic of postmodernity represents the culmination of that process, which turns around a concept of will and political freedom that gives unity and, in sum, explains its contradictions and the paradox of its radical domination.
