El PSOE y la “Solución Armada”: la reunión Múgica-Armada en Lérida

Abstract

Artículo que se basa en la investigación realizada por el autor para explicar la vinculación que existió entre el principal partido de la oposición en el momento del Golpe de Estado del 23-F –el Partido Socialista Obrero Español (PSOE)– y las operaciones de la llamada “transición paralela”, iniciadas en 1977 y que finalizan con la llamada “Solución Armada” en 1979. El autor se centra en la reunión que el diputado socialista Enrique Múgica Herzog, entonces presidente de la Comisión de Defensa del Congreso de los Diputados, mantuvo con el general Alfonso Armada en Lérida, el 22 de octubre de 1981.

Article based on the research carried out by the author to explain the link that existed between the main opposition party at the time of the coup d'état of 23-F -the Spanish Socialist Workers Party (PSOE)- and the operations of the called "parallel transition", started in 1977 and ending with the so-called "Armada Solution" in 1979. The author focuses on the meeting that the socialist deputy Enrique Múgica Herzog, then president of the Defense Committee of the Congress of Deputies, maintained with General Alfonso Armada in Lleida, on October 22nd, 1981.
