La imagen de la mujer en la fotografía de Miles Aldridge

Abstract

Miles Aldridge es un fotógrafo de moda que rompe con la estética tradicional de este sector. Al mismo tiempo que pretende mostrar la ropa y accesorios al público, transmite una serie de ideas acerca de la sociedad en la que vivimos y, más concretamente, sobre la situación que sufre la mujer en nuestros días. En este trabajo se incluye la biografía del artista, destacando aquellos detalles que le empujaron a tener esta visión sobre la fotografía. Se analizarán algunas de sus series fotográficas más relevantes para entender su estilo y estudiar las técnicas que utiliza en cuanto a encuadres, iluminación, poses, escenarios y la temática que trata el autor. Además, se detallan las influencias que más le han marcado a lo largo de su carrera. Una vez estudiados los detalles de su obra, se incluirá un apartado analizando los aspectos más importantes de su crítica, desde los orígenes hasta los puntos más relevantes de su visión feminista. Finalizado el estudio teórico, se presentarán tres series fotográficas propias, inspiradas en la estética y el mensaje de Miles Aldridge, cada una de ellas relacionadas con un tema de su crítica.

Miles Aldridge is a fashion photograph that breaks the traditional esthetic of this sector. At the same time that pretends to show the clothes and accesories to the public, convey a bunch of ideas about the society where we live and, more specifically, about the situation that women suffers in owr days. In this assignment is included the artista biography, highlighting the details that motivates him to have this visión about the photography. A bunch ofhighighted photographies series to understand his style and study the techniques that he uses for the frames, lighting, poses, scenes and the topic that the autor is working on will be analyzed. Also, we´re going to detail the influences that have conditionated him through his career. Once the details of his piece have been studied, will be included a section analyzing the most important details about his review, since his origins until the more relevant points from his feminist visión. Once the theoric study has been finished, a serie of three own photographies will be shown, inspired by Miles Aldridge´s stethic and message, all of them are linked with a topic of his criticism.
