El papel de las cazoletas y los cruciformes en la delimitación del espacio. Grabados y materiales del yacimiento de San Cristóbal (Valdemorales - Zarza de Montánchez, Cáceres)

Abstract

Los trabajos de documentación de varios conjuntos de grabados rupestres en el entorno de un yacimiento situado sobre una de las cumbres de la Sierra de Montánchez (Cáceres), nos ha brindado la oportunidad de investigar cazoletas, cruciformes y otros símbolos en relación al espacio que ocupan. Al mismo tiempo intentamos explotar la tipología de cerámicas calcolíticas, del Bronce Pleno y un grupo de piezas metálicas de tipología atlántica, para la adscripción del yacimiento.

The research work carried out on several groups of cave engravings in surroundings of a site situated on one of the tops of the Montánchez Mountains (Cáceres), has given us the opportunity of investigating cupmark, cruciforms and other symbol in relation to the area they take up. At the same time we try exploit the typology of pottery from the Cooper Age and the upper Bronze Age as a collection of metallic pieces of Atlantic typology, for the determination of the site.
