Migración de un website estático a un CMS

Abstract

El punto de partida de este trabajo radica en la necesidad de migrar un sitio web estático y antiguo a un CMS (Content Management System, Sistema de Gestión de Contenidos en español), que nos permita una gestión sencilla y que, además, esté adaptado a las necesidades actuales. Para ello, hemos realizado un estudio teórico, desde la creación de la Web por Tim Berners-Lee, hasta lo que es hoy en día, su funcionamiento y cómo se crea contenido en ella, así como una breve historia de los CMS. Esto nos permite tener una base sólida sobre la que basarnos para conocer las limitaciones del sitio web actual, comparar CMS y elegir el correcto para el nuevo sitio, analizar las tendencias actuales en diseño web y elaborar un plan de actuación. En él, hemos realizado una comparación entre hostings y dominios para elegir los adecuados. Tras ello, hemos implementado el CMS elegido en el hosting para poder realizar la migración correctamente, la cual nos ha permitido que el sitio web actual tenga las herramientas necesarias para una gestión, creación y edición de contenido sencilla y que, visualmente, contenga todo lo necesario para estar adaptado a los nuevos tiempos.

The main point of this work is the necessity of migrate and old website, which is based on a static web, to a new website, which is based on a CMS (Content Management System). Using a CMS will provide us a simple edition and a better management adapted to the new times. For it, we’ve done a study since the creation of the Web by Tim Berners-Lee, until what is the Web nowadays, how it works and how can create content on it. Besides, a short history about the beginning of the CMS. All of this, has provide us to know the limitation of the actual website, compare and choose the correct CMS to the new website, analyze the actual trends on web design and elaborate a schedule. In that schedule, we’ve done a comparison between the hostings and domains to choose the correct one, we’ve installed the CMS into the hosting to migrate the website successfully, thanks to that, the website have the necessary tools to create, edit and manage the contect of the website easily and to be adapted to the modern times.
