Abstract

El gran atractivo que la ciudad de Llerena posee se encuentra en su singular plaza mayor. En ella se encierra una parte primordial de la historia de esta villa bajo-extremeña. No es sólo desde el punto de vista arquitectónico tiene importancia sino también urbanístico. Tiene una particular relación con la Iglesia de La Granada motivada por un mecanismo recíproco de intercambio funcional. El artículo analiza materiales, reformas y artífices de esta Plaza.
