| Abstract: | El artículo analiza el recorrido histórico de la fortaleza santiaguista de Mérida, así como su proceso en diferentes fases históricas.
Analiza la estructura de sus elementos defensivos, la describe a fines del siglo XV y cuenta la visita que hace la Orden de Santiago. Finalmente se convierte en Convento de esta Orden. The article analyzes the historical way of the Santiago fortress of Mérida, as well as its process in different historical phases. It analyzes the structure of its defensive elements, describes it at the end of the 15th century and tells about the visit made by the Order of Santiago. Finally it becomes Convent of this Order. |
