Del teatro inconcluso de García Lorca: apostillas a "Los sueños de mi prima Aurelia"

Abstract

A su muerte, Lorca dejó varios proyectos teatrales en diversas fases de ejecución: algunos eran simples notas o declaraciones breves; y otros consistían en fragmentos de textos de diferentes longitudes. Entre estos se destacan los llamados "Comedia sin título" y "Los sueños de mi prima Aurelia". El primer acto de esta última ha sobrevivido intacto. Este ensayo analiza todo esto y lo relaciona con el drama de Lorca, su prosa y la poesía, y, sobre todo, con la obra "Doña Rosita la soltera". Se significan las conexiones entre los personajes femeninos de esta obra y los inventados por Lorca para su drama.

On his death, Lorca left several theatrical projects at various stages of completion: some were mere notes or brief statements, and others consisted of fragments of texts of varying lengths. Standing out among these are the so-called “Comedia sin título” and “Los sueños de mi prima Aurelia”. The first act of the latter has survived intact. This essay analyzes this and relates it to Lorca's drama, his prose and poetry, and, above all, to the play “Doña Rosita la soltera”. Attention is drawn to connections between the female characters in this play and those habitually invented by Lorca for his drama.
