Los paisajes culturales del agua en Extremadura a través del "filtro" de algunos artistas visuales

Abstract

La mirada de los artistas visuales sobre los espacios naturales transformados por el hombre, se ha visto plasmada en la creación de determinados paisajes estéticos, abordados con «la mochila» de cada trayectoria cultural, el contexto histórico, artístico, literario y la propia ideología del autor. En el texto se hace mención de pintores y escultores, fotógrafos y cineastas, y autores de performances que han dejado creativos testimonios sobre el espacio físico entre el Tajo y el Guadiana

The way that visual artists looked at natural spaces that had been transformed by man is expressed through the creation of certain aesthetic landscapes – works which were carried out with the «lens» of each unique cultural moment in mind: the historic, artistic, and literary context, as well as the artist’s own ideology. In this presentation, we mention painters and sculptors, photographers and filmmakers, and performance artists who have left their creative mark on the physical space between the Tagus and the Guadiana Rivers.
