Antología didáctica de la literatura española medieval

Abstract

Este libro es una de las lecturas obligatorias de la asignatura “Textos de literatura española medieval” del grado de Filología Hispánica de la Universidad de Extremadura. Con ella se pretende que el alumno pueda conocer textos de los diversos géneros que se estudian en la asignatura y que no se tratan en las otras cinco lecturas obligatorias: el Cantar de Mio Cid, el Libro de buen amor, una antología del romancero viejo, El Conde Lucanor de don Juan Manuel y La Celestina. La estructura de la Antología sigue la establecida en el manual de la asignatura, “Aproximación a la literatura castellana de la Edad Media”, publicada por el Servicio de Publicaciones de la Universidad de Extremadura en 2020 y de acceso libre en la dirección http://dehesa.unex.es/handle/10662/10587 Los textos son, en su mayoría, de edición propia utilizando los materiales de las fuentes que se indican y contrastándolos, cuando ello es posible, con otras ediciones de prestigio. Tanto en nota, como en las referencias bibliográficas que cierran la Antología, se reseñan las fuentes utilizadas para la adaptación y edición de los textos seleccionadas. Se ha buscado variedad en las diversas tradiciones ecdóticas, desde la erudición dieciochesca a las modernas técnicas de la edición crítica. Con ello se pretende que el alumno vea la diversidad existente en los acercamiento y reconstrucciones de los textos medievales. No obstante, y teniendo en cuenta las dificultades de acercamiento a las grafías y fonemas medievales que los alumnos de segundo de grado tienen, se han uniformado todas las fuentes siguiendo en gran parte los criterios de edición que hemos utilizado en el libro “Prácticas de Textos de la literatura española medieval”, publicada también por el Servicio de Publicaciones de la Universidad de Extremadura en 2021 y de acceso libre en la dirección: http://dehesa.unex.es/handle/10662/11912

This book is one of the compulsory readings of the subject "Texts of Medieval Spanish Literature" of the degree in Hispanic Philology at the University of Extremadura. It is intended to introduce students to texts from the different genres studied in the course, which are not covered in the other five compulsory readings: the Cantar de Mio Cid, the Libro de buen amor, an anthology of the romancero viejo, El Conde Lucanor by Don Juan Manuel and La Celestina. The structure of the Anthology follows the one established in the manual of the subject, "Aproximación a la literatura castellana de la Edad Media", published by the Servicio de Publicaciones de la Universidad de Extremadura in 2020 and freely accessible at the address http://dehesa.unex.es/handle/10662/10587. The texts are, for the most part, self-edited using the source materials indicated and contrasting them, where possible, with other prestigious editions. The sources used for the adaptation and editing of the selected texts are listed both in the footnotes and in the bibliographical references at the end of the Anthology. Variety has been sought in the different ecdotic traditions, from eighteenth-century scholarship to modern critical editing techniques. The aim is for the student to see the diversity of approaches and reconstructions of medieval texts. Nevertheless, and taking into account the difficulties that second-year students have in approaching medieval spelling and phonemes, all the sources have been standardised, largely following the editing criteria we have used in the book "Prácticas de Textos de la literatura española medieval", also published by the Servicio de Publicaciones de la Universidad de Extremadura in 2021 and freely accessible at the following address: http://dehesa.unex.es/handle/10662/11912.
