El interés del estudio de las normas de la costumbre del Fuero reside principalmente en el análisis de su vigencia y eficacia jurídica, teniendo en cuenta que se trata de una normativa de derecho particular en la Comunidad Autónoma de Extremadura, donde, como veremos, tiene aplicación y vigencia excepcional referida a una materia jurídica que está en general. sometida a la regulación del Código civil
