El "más allá" en la obra de Cervantes

Abstract

Habiendo finalizado el año conmemorativo dedicado al cuarto centenario de Cervantes, me pareció oportuno una vez pasadas estas efemérides, dedicar un artículo a la idea del "más allá" en la obra del principal autor español de todos los tiempos, y reflejar las distintas posiciones ante el tránsito a la otra vida que da en su obra, correspondientes a su época, en la que nos encontrarnos con el Renacimiento, la Mística y el sentir popular ante la muerte. Cervantes, como es tan prolífico escritor, según sea la obra literaria que escribe, sabe expresar con mano maestra el sentir de su personaje con una fuerza y una expresividad llena de encomio y de loa.

After the end of the commemorative year dedicated to Cervantes´ fourth Century, I thought that it was the moment to write an article about "the beyond" in the work of the most important Spanish writer of all times and to show the different positions about the passing to the otber life that he offers in bis work, according to bis time, where we face the Renaissance, the Mysticism and the popular feeling before the death. Cervantes, since he is such a prolific writer, depending on the literary work that he writes, knows how to express, witb master hand, the feeling of bis characters with an admirable strength and expressiveness.
