Actitudes del profesorado ante el tránsito a la vida laboral de los jóvenes con discapacidad

Abstract

Este artículo tiene como objetivo analizar la opinión del profesorado de Extremadura de Primaria y Secundaria, sobre el tránsito a la vida laboral del alumnado con discapacidad que se encuentra en edad laboral, y que ha estado en programas de integración. Se han elaborado dos cuestionarios específicos, uno dirigido al profesorado de primaria, profesores especialistas de audición y lenguaje y educación especial y otro a secundaria y a otros profesionales pertenecientes al mundo de la discapacidad. En los cuestionarios se han planteado dos preguntas abiertas acerca de la preparación escolar de los jóvenes para incorporarse a la vida adulta y las ofertas que se les puede ofrecer para su inserción laboral. Los resultados indican que más del 50% del profesorado de primaria y un 78% de secundaria, creen que no se ha preparado suficientemente al alumnado para su integración en el mundo laboral y nos aportan algunas soluciones para una inserción adecuada.
