Sobre la historia lingüística de la voz "urta"

Abstract

Este trabajo hace un recorrido por algunas de las obras que recogen el ictiónimo urta a lo largo de la historia española. Con ello se pretende establecer un mapa lin­güístico que nos permita conocer las zonas donde se documenta esa voz, cuáles son sus variantes y a qué realidad extralingüística designan. Todo ello tiene como objeto extraer una serie de datos diacrónicos y dialectales, y adscribir la voz a uno o a varios níveles diafásicos. El objetivo último de este análisis es proponer un étimo, que no se ha llegado a determinar todavía hoy, y fijar la forma de esta palabra a lo luz de los dalos que se han recopilado.

The purpose of this study is to investigate sorne works where the name urta along the History of the Spanish language is documented. These works are analyzed to offer a linguistic map that allows knowing the areas where that word is documented, its variants and their meaning. The main objecLive is to propose an etymology, that still it has today not been established, and to fix the form of the word urta.
