Laws 54 to 61 of Toro, by materially regulating the essential principles and institutions related to the capacity to act of the Castilian married woman, is the legal-private regime that governs the actions of married women in the Indian Law. The married woman in the Indies thus has the same limitations to the capacity to act as the Castilian married woman. |
