| Abstract: | El conocimiento cada vez más completo que vamos teniendo de Diego Valadés y de su Rhetorica chrístiana nos lleva, como en este caso, al descubrimiento de insospechadas relaciones entre autores y géneros. En este caso concreto, el artículo revela la relación entre un singular libro de caballería, el Don Florindo de Fernando Basurto, y unos exempla aportados por el rétor franciscano en su tratado de retórica. The even more thorough knowledge we have of Diego Valadés and his Rhetorica christiana leads us, as it is the case, to the diseovery of unsuspected relationships between authors and genres. In more specific terms, this paper reveals the relationship between a peculiar Romance of Chivaliy, Femando Basurto´s Don Florindo, and sorne exempla contributed by the Franciscan rhetor in bis rhetoric treatise. |
