The aim of this article is to demonstrate the applicability of the case study methodology as an active research and innovation in the teaching degree from the University of Leon. In a previous study, the theoretical review for supporting this methodology was presented. In this second phase, we consider the objectives and methods for its implementation and results and conclusions obtained to implement this methodology in the college classroom. The development of this experience provides criteria to review and evaluate this method in the university learning environment. Besides, we offer an opportunity to learn how to analyze situations and solve problems using descriptive data. In this sense, the case study is presented as a method of great interest, validity and relevance, which focuses on the development of skills suited to the new curriculum offered within the Higher European Education Area. |
