| Abstract: | La catedral de Plasencia acoge en su cabecera un monumental retablo del primer tercio del siglo XVII. Una de las mejores obras del arte español y, sin duda, la mejor pieza salida de los talleres vallisoletanos del momento. Repasaremos de forma muy breve la historia del retablo. The Cathedral of Plasencia houses a monumental altarpiece from the first third of the 17th century at its head. One of the best works of Spanish art and, without a doubt, the best piece to come out of the Valladolid workshops of the moment. We will briefly review the history of the altarpiece. |
