Abstract

Trabajo que se plantea el sentido de la lingüística moderna. Se analiza cómo el positivismo lingüístico, basado en la tradición objetivista de la gramática, estima que el sentido existe, pese a que no se puede decir mucho sobre él. El discurso tiene un significado estable, que es independiente de las condiciones del contexto y de la situación concreta en que se utilizan.

A work that considers the meaning of modern linguistics. It analyses how linguistic positivism, based on the objectivist tradition of grammar, considers that meaning exists, despite the fact that not much can be said about it. Discourse has a stable meaning, which is independent of the conditions of the context and the concrete situation in which it is used.
