There are three epigraphic elements verified in Latin inscriptions related to the Iter ab Emerita Caesaraugustam, specifically in the territory around Trujillo, which so far have been studied without establishing clear relationships among them. These are Rodacis, Rudanis and Roudaecom. We hereby proposea system in which we explain these three elements and we establish relationships among them and with the current name of village in Cáceres: RUANES. |
