Notas sobre el gerundio y el gerundivo

Abstract

Este trabajo trata de explicar algunas cuestiones sobre las formas denominadas "gerundio" y "gerundivo" en latín. Estas formas, desde la Antigüedad hasta nuestros días, han motivado diversos problemas sobre su origen, su "diátesis", su denominación y relaciones con el participio futuro... Estas son las cuestiones sobre las que la autora da su opinión personal, tratando de arrojar luz sobre la oscuridad que siempre ha envuelto a las formas latinas terminadas en "nd".

This paper tries to explain some questions about the forms denominated "gerund" and "gerundive" in Latin. These forms, from the Antiquity to ours days, have motivated several problems about their origin, their "diathesis", their denomination and relations with the future participle... These are the questions about wich the authoress give her personal opinion, trying to cast light on the obscurity that has always involved the Latin forms in nd.
