| Abstract: | Entre los muchos varones ilustres que ha dado la villa de Brozas, Francisco Sánchez, “El Brocense”, es, sin duda, el más conocido y afamado. Pero ello no quiere decir que no haya otros humanistas importantes procedentes de esta villa. Tal es el caso del personaje que ahora nos ocupa: Francisco de Cabrera Morales (Brozas, 1564- Roma, ca. 1616). Among the many illustrious men that the town of Brozas1 has produced, Francisco Sánchez, "El Brocense", is undoubtedly the best known and most famous. But this does not mean that there are no other important humanists from this town. Such is the case of the person we are dealing with here: Francisco de Cabrera Morales (Brozas, 1564 - Rome, ca. 1616). |
