El objetivo es probar la hipótesis de la iconicidad: ¿se aplica al caso en que un elemento complejo (au niveau, par rapport, en ce qui concerne) se usa con un actante cuyo referente también podría tener una representación en la función sintáctica de un abyecto? Parece que sí es posible ver una motivación semántico-discursiva en estos casos. Los hablantes parecen hacer uso de la reducción de la transitividad sintáctica (cf. investigación en tipología lingüística) para disminuir la transitividad semántica. Sin embargo, para poder confirmar la hipótesis, las fichas investigadas no son lo suficientemente numerosas. El artículo representa un enfoque construccionista.

The paper presents an overview of the different constructions of the verb réussir ("to succeed, to manage") in contemporary French. The aim is to test the iconicity hypothesis: does it apply to the case where a complex element (au niveau, par rapport, en ce qui concerne) is used with an actant the referent of which could also have a representation in the syntactic function of an abject? Il seems that it is indeed possible to see a semantic-discursive motivation in these cases. The speakers seem to make use of the reduction of syntactic transitivity (cf. research in linguistic typology) to diminish semantic transitivity. However, to be able to confirm the hypothesis the tokens investigated are not sufficiently numerous. The paper represents a constructionist approach.

L'article présente un survol des différentes constructions du verbe réussir en français contemporain. L'objectif est de voir si l'hypothèse d'iconicité s'applique à l'emploi où un élément complexe (au niveau,par rapport, en ce qui concerne) se trouve avec un actant dont le référent pourrait également avoir une représentation dans la fonction syntaxique d'objet. Il semble qu'il soit possible qu'une motivation sémantico-discursive puisse être détectée : les locuteurs semblent profiter de la diminution de la transitivité syntaxique (cf. études en typologie des langues) pour diminuer la transitivité sémantique. Cependant, pour dire quelque chose de définitif il faudrait pouvoir travailler sur un nombre plus important d'occurrences. L'approche de l'étude est constructionniste.
