Abstract

Queda demostrado, a nuestro juicio, que el B.O.B., en algunos temas y ocasiones, funciona como una revista de divulgación científica. Creemos estar en condiciones de afirmar que el sistema de clasificación de la UNESCO que se ha utilizado es una herramienta (útil para la ordenación de los datos obtenidos del Boletín Oficial de la Provincia de Badajoz. La variedad y riqueza de noticias obtenidas nos permite afirmar que son varios los campos de la Ciencia que están presentes en nuestro estudio: algunos pueden incluso ser abordados por investigadores especializados en las diferentes materias recuperadas. La agricultura es el segundo campo más numeroso pese a que Badajoz es una provincia cuya economía es predominantemente agrícola. Cabría esperar que el mayor número de noticias correspondiera al campo de CIENCIAS AGRARÍAS, en vez de a la disciplina POLÍTICA NACIONAL Y DEUDA PÚBLICA NACIONALES, perteneciente al campo CIENCIAS ECONÓMICAS; ello es debido a que en el año 1880 se intenta realizar una reforma del apéndice de amillaramiento. El Boletín Oficial de la Provincia de Badajoz es una publicación oficial y periódica de la cual se han revisado 132 Boletines, obteniéndose 1.027 noticias sobre Ciencia y Tecnología durante el primer semestre del año 1880. Si bien el Boletín Oficial de la Provincia de Badajoz tiene un ámbito provincial, se caracteriza por un gran número de noticias locales, 815 lo que supone un 79,26%, seguidas de las provinciales, 157, con un 15,29%, algunas nacionales, 54 con un 5,25% y finalmente una internacional que resulta ser un 0,1%.
