Current trends in economy, sustainable development, and energy: a circular economy view

Abstract

El presente número especial presenta ocho contribuciones científicas y ofrece una selección de distintos métodos académicos y de investigación. Los autores proceden de diferentes países: Dinamarca, Lituania, Nigeria, Pakistán, Polonia, Singapur, España y Reino Unido. El artículo introductorio de este número especial resume los resultados de una extensa revisión de los métodos de investigación. Los tres primeros artículos están relacionados con el sector de la construcción, la gestión de residuos. Los tres artículos siguientes son estudios de pruebas empíricas realizados con bacterias y elementos de laboratorio. Los dos últimos artículos se centran en las adaptaciones de software y su mejor uso en el contexto de la CE.

The present special issue features eight scientific contributions and offers a selection of distinct scholar and research methods. The authors are from different countries: Denmark, Lithuania, Nigeria, Pakistan, Poland, Singapore, Spain and the UK. The introductory article to this special issue summarizes the results of an extensive review of research methods. The first three articles are related to the construction sector, the waste management. The next three articles are empirical test studies carried out with bacteria and laboratory elements. The last two articles focus on software adaptations and their best use in the context of the CE.
