El patrimonio cultural como recurso turístico: el caso de Guadalupe

Abstract

En estas líneas se pretende analizar la relación que existe entre el patrimonio y el turismo, y cómo el primero puede llegar a convertirse en un recurso turístico mediante la acción del hombre que lo hace utilizable desde la óptica turística dentro de los parámetros actuales del turismo cultural. En la segunda parte se realizará una rápida visita por todos aquellos recursos turísticos con los que cuenta Guadalupe, que ha pasado de ser un lugar de peregrinación a ofrecer una amplia variedad de experiencias que se adaptan a todo tipo de visitantes.

The aim of these lines is to analyse the relationship that exists between heritage and tourism, and how the former can become a tourist resource through human action that makes it usable from a tourist point of view within the current parameters of cultural tourism. In the second part, a quick tour of all the tourist resources available in Guadeloupe, which has gone from being a place of pilgrimage to offering a wide variety of experiences to suit all types of visitors.
