La Biblioteca universitaria de Extremadura (1973-2023)

Abstract

Se analiza la historia de la Biblioteca universitaria de Extremadura. Se manejan datos desde 1980 y se usan fuentes generadas por la Universidad de Extremadura y por el Servicio de Biblioteca, que adopta diversos nombres desde 1991. Se presta atención a las realizaciones de los profesionales, de todas las escalas, que protagonizan la génesis y desarrollos de la biblioteca universitaria en su primer cincuentenario. Se estudian los logros de gestión de la dirección del Servicio de Biblioteca desde hace tres décadas; y las políticas de los gestores académicos. Se incluyen gráficos para expresar de forma didáctica los datos cuantitativos de la investigación.

This is an analysis of the history of the university library in Extremadura. The data used go back to 1980. They are provided by the University of Extremadura and the Library Service, which has been known as the Library Service since 1991. It celebrates the achievements of professionals at all levels who have played a leading role in creating and developing the University Library over the first fifty years. The management performance of the library service over the last three decades and the policies of academic managers are under review. For the didactic presentation of the quantitative data of the research, there will be graphs and charts.
