Evolución de la relación hombre / Dios desde "Platón" al siglo II d. C.

Abstract

Mientras que las culturas helénica y judía se oponían siempre a las demás, el cristianismo se dirigió y logró unificar ambos: los antiguos fueron los pioneros sobre los que, posteriormente, se proclamó el cristianismo. En este artículo se estudia la influencia que la filosofía platónica pudo tener sobre los primeros autores cristianos en relación con el entonces nuevo concepto de hombre y sobre su dignidad. Los autores cristianos citan las palabras del Génesis, 1, 26, una y otra vez; y porque no rechazan los aspectos positivos de la filosofía griega, también se refieren a Platón, el filósofo de los filósofos.

While the Helenic and Jewish cultures where always opposed to each other, Christianity aimed at and succeeded in unifying both: The ancients had been the pioneers in what Christianity would later proclaim. In this article we study the influence that the Platonic Philosophy may have had over the first Christian authors in relation to the then new concept of man and his dignity. Christian authors quote the words from Genesis, 1, 26, again and again, and because they do not reject any of the positive aspects of the Greek Philosophy, they also refer to Plato, the philosopher of philosophers.
