Ordenanzas del heredamiento de Corchuela (1512 y 1602)

Abstract

Los heredamientos de Cáceres son antiguas aldeas que han perdido esta condición y se han convertido en espacios de acumulación patrimonial para la oligarquía local a lo largo del siglo XV. Las ordenanzas de Corchuela de 1512 y 1602, muy similares, tienen por ello un carácter privado. Resultan de un acuerdo entre los propietarios y no requieren de ninguna confirmación concejil o real. Se centran fundamentalmente en el prado o dehesa boyal, residuo de los antiguos derechos comunales. El espacio cerealista no recibe ningún tratamiento, por lo que intuimos su estricto aprovechamiento individual. El heredamiento cuenta con mayordomo, alcaldes y escribano, cargos que desempeñan los propietarios.

The inheritances of Cáceres are old villages that have lost this condition and have become spaces of patrimonial accumulation for the local oligarchy throughout the 15th century. The ordinances of Corchuela of 1512 and 1602, very similar, have therefore a private character. They are the result of an agreement between the owners and do not require any council or royal confirmation. They are centered fundamentally on the meadow or "dehesa boyal", a residue of the old communal rights. The cereal area does not receive any treatment, so we sense its strict individual use. The inheritance has a steward, mayors and notary, positions held by the owners.
