Teoría de la "Novella" y Neoaristotelismo quinientista

Abstract

En este artículo se analiza cómo se relaciona la literatura moderna vernácula con las categorías que nacen del género neoaristotélico. El estudio se centra en el primer tratado enteramente dedicado a la literatura vernácula como género, Francesco Bonciani "Lezione sopra il comporre delle novelle" (1574), lección dedicada a las reglas de composición de la novella, a su delimitación como género literario y al análisis del modelo boccacciano.

In this paper, the author investigates how modern vernacular literature relates to the traditional categories provided by the Neoaristotelian genre system. The study deals with the first treatise entirely devoted to the Italian vernacular "novella" as a genre, Francesco Boncianil's "Lezione sopra Il compare dell novelle" (1574), lesson devoted to the rules of composition of the novella, to their identification as a literary genre and to the analysis of the boccacciano model.
